Support Richard!

For people interested in the politics of the internets, one of the worst cases we've seen in a long while is the insane case against Richard O'Dwyer. He's a young UK citizen, who was running the link based site TV-Shack.

He is now facing extradition to the US. He has no ties to that country and has not operated his website in the US. It doesn't really matter if he's committed a crime in giving out links on his websites (we of course do not see this as something illegal, but actually protected as legal by lots of european laws), another country should not be able to demand him extradited to follow his laws.

We would never allow a person that was unfaithful to his or her partner to be extradited to a dictatorship such as Saudi Arabia to be punished for that crime. But as soon as COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT is the alleged "crime", anything goes. It's insane and needs to be stopped!

Anyone that cares about democracy, peoples right to a fair trial and that money should not buy you benefits in the legal system, should support Richard now. It's an important case. Next time it could be you!

Watch what I do here: You don't even need to read or, if you do read them, like my books. If you've downloaded them and you keep them active in your torrent application (UTorrent, Vuze, whatever you use...), you can always say to your IP/WiFi/Cable provider that you were downloading and hosting PERFECTLY LEGAL files. I wrote these and I have uploaded them to Piratebay for you to enjoy. It's all good to download them and keep them seeded. Torrenting is the preferred means by which I, the sole creator of them, want to share my work with anyone and everyone. This way, I get you to seed my files and maybe you'll read them and like them. Because you are seeding them, they stay active for me and I don't have to overheat my old laptop while I seed overnight. I'm asking you to host by giving you an explanation you can use for your parents or spouse or whomever about why you are receiving a warning for a cable/Fios/WiFi ban/shut-down. Just say you were hosting my lame-ass shit, and ask them where the violation is in

Well i donated 20 pounds and wrote my support on the donation site. Not much, but it's something. Something a lot of people can do without it getting expensive. Because we all know that if he gets extradited to the US and jailed there, it could happen to any one of us after that and there would be legal precedent for them to use against us.
