Once again we're ignored

We didn't get any of the Nobel prizes this year, as usual.

It's as expected since we have scandinavian roots. It's called being home blind - we will forever be ignored for our work where our origins are.

There are several prizes we should have got already. Of course the Peace Prize for bringing people together, that's the obvious one. The one for Economy is another given - we've managed to take away money from the equation of information distribution.

But the one that really bugs us here at the HQ is the chemistry prize. Noone has ever come close to getting our type of chemistry across the world, or managed to get people so pissed as we've done.

Giving the Peace Prize to the EU was a big joke. It shows that noone can take this prize seriously anymore. We have an idea that we want your input on: Should we revive our Polar Pirate Prize and create the worlds best award ceremony?

(Oh and next year, if we don't win at least one of the nobel prizes... we'll just exclude Scandinavia from being able to access TPB. Maybe then they'll understand how much we mean to keep the peace at home...)

I don't think the Chemistry prize is meant for this kind of things, but I do think that you deserve the Nobel prize for Economy.

Nobel prize is a big joke... Even Obama wins. And what he did for that??? I really don´t know...
Piratebay makes more to the people than a lot of nobel winners.
The Polar Pirate Prize is a great idea. Maybe it can be done in a Pirate Island.

Even though the chemistry prize isn't meant for that you should still get it. The economy prize sure and the peace one for not starting a war. I don't think excluding scandinavia will work for the same reason england can't seem to exclude you. The Polar Pirate Prize must come next year though

TPB should get a Nobel-prize, for one, because it saved the Economy. It was on one of the Robot Chicken episodes that they wrote (and I'm paraphrasing) that those millions of dollars that are being lost, are not lost by the economy, but by corporations and studios. The economy is much better off, because people don't spend their money on useless DVDs and stuff, but buy useful stuff...like food.
I think what you are doing is revolutionary and may one day change the way we deal with financing art.

I want to share a thing that's always been a personal wish of mine. A film about pirate bay, it's founder and the whole internet revolution about file sharing. A big budget studio film not some obscure indie film. Of course for obvious reason, no hollywood studio would want to do this. But for me it's not about piracy, it's about sharing happiness.

That douche with facebook certainly get it fast, a big budget film. But think about the drama (the police assault, etc) if TPB story ever made it to the big screen.

Rose from doctor who says something like this once. 'How can i eat chips and go to sleep, get to work when there's just so many wonder out there' and that's the whole point of file sharing to me. I would pay if i could, but i honestly couldn't. I live a modest life enough to eat and cover all of basic necessities. I really can't afford all of 'things' i get right now even if i want. Maybe 10 20 item a year (film games software etc). Back then, i can't imagine what WONDER i would've miss if there

Don't feel bad for not getting the peace prize, it's a total joke. Obama got that prize shortly after he was elected. Why?
No reason at all he didn't make any changes in that short amount of time. The peace prizes aren't really taken serious by anyone anymore so don't fell bad for not getting it but instead see it for the stupid joke it actually is.
