Call for Candidates in an upcoming by-election
Follow-up to previous newsletter, we are still looking for candidates for the Macleod riding in Alberta. A by-election is expected to be called due to the resignation of Conservative MP Ted Menzies.

Narrator Needed for an Information Video Campaign
We are working on an information video and is in need of a narrator, either male or female. Please contact [email protected] if interested in volunteering to be a narrator for a 6-7 minutes video.

Financial Status
There were a total of $605 donations to the party for the month of Deccember 2013. (Note - this amount have not been verified yet or some might still be pending settlement).

In the Works. Volunteers Needed.
  • Voting System - we are revamping the previous voting code to improve security and add additional features. If you are a PHP coder, please e-mail [email protected] to help out.
  • Asynchronous Meeting - We will be switching to Asynchronous Meeting soon. As soon as the option is added to our CRM - my.pirateparty.ca. This will allow all members to participate at whatever time is convenient for them. So it's not restricted only to people who can be on IRC at third Wednesday of each month. Anyone with Drupal or PHP knowledge can join the team. We will be exploring various ways of implementing this.
