Actually, this is why I'm proposing a research committee, we need a more focused and directed approach to bring issues of interest to the public's and party's attention.

Sounds like a good idea trailblazer11.
Also, I'm going to be late for the meeting. I have to pick someone up from the bus terminal. Probably looking at 8:45pm. Someone take notes eh? |

Sure. We'd need a table to set that stuff up at though. Dain also suggested selling tshirts, but I don't think that's appropriate for a rally. Agreed. Giving them away however, would be. I'm not sure how much that would cost and if it can be afforded to give away a few shirts. Just throwing a few of them into the crowd would work well. It would be incredibly easy to set up a table too. |

I'm inclined to agree, but the perfectionist in me is a bit bothered by the fact that most other parties save for the NDP don't include “party” in their short name. yeah that was my initial thought also but now I like the sound of Pirate Party or Parti Pirate better. It sounds more professional than simply Pirate. |

Thoughts on giving away coffee and hot chocolate? It's likely going to be cold, and free stuff is always nice. If we could have a couple people pitch thermoses (I've got two I can use) it would be really easy to make some coffee and hot chocolate to give away.
